Following a huge success with announcement of Nina Kraviz we enjoy another wave of happiness from fans by announcing another legend that will be headlining Ritual Drum and Bass Stage on July 23. He is none other than the well-known Hospital Records label artist, the world-famous DJ and producer High Contrast.
This skillful drum & bass producer from Wales gathers fame at every place where he goes. D&B magazine Knowledge has ranked his second, now already legendary album "High Society" among the TOP 3 best albums of the past ten years. His way to the award "miraculous child of the d&b scene" was definitely not straightforward. At the beginning, vegetarian Lincoln Barretta was not even interested in music so much. As a child he played keyboards for eight years so unlike many of his producer colleagues he is well aware of musical notes. However at that time he did not see his future in music industry. The only thing he actually listened to were movie soundtracks. As he was interested in movies he had chosen to study filmmaking which led him later on to making music. As a DJ he traveled the world and during his trips he met a lot of different types of electronic music fans. He likes contrasts among the people and his interest in combining musical extremes led to creation of his pseudonym High Contrast.
The novelty of the festival is a newly created story of almighty shaman, according to which the future shape of the festival will unfold. Festival fans have already been able to notice this new form on the festival graphics, the names of individual stages, and also they can look forward the festival area itself, where everything else will be decorated in this spirit. New stage names will also be held in this original Native American style. Already mentioned Shaman Stage will cover the techno DJs, Ritual Stage will be dedicated to drum and bass, and Trans Stage for the hard tech fans.
